REPORTS TO: EARLY CHILDHOOD DIRECTOR/PRINCIPAL SALARY $17.25 - 20.25 HOURLY
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for providing instructional and student supervision duties in the pre school program. Develops and promotes good community relations among various community and school clientele.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Plans and implements the Preschool curriculum.
2. Creates an enriching classroom environment.
3. Evaluates the progress of students.
4. Conducts Parent Teacher Conferences three times per year.
5. Consults and collaborates with appropriate specialists regarding children with special needs.
6. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
7. Collects and enters data for state/district reporting systems.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING
High school graduate or equivalent
Group Leader Qualified
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
One to three years
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of pre school children and child development helpful
GENERAL EXPECTATIONS

Maintains a positive attitude
Has read the employee handbook to familiarize themselves with pertinent policies
Observes all district policies and procedures

SUPERVISORY DUTIES
Provides work direction, makes recommendations on evaluation and employment decisions.
