Position Description: Crossing Guard/Playground Monitor
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt, Classified Compensation Plan Level 1(Beginning Salary $11.03), 9-Month Work Calendar; Part-Time - Up to 20 Hours/Week
GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES: To ensure safety and security in the lunch and playground areas around lunch time.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES: (Essential Functions)

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to stay alert and monitor the activities of children. Ability to stand for long periods of time in various weather conditions. Bilingual preferred.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be at last 18 years of age and possess a High School Diploma or GED.
REQUIRED LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: None.
