Tutoring Professional

Our tutoring program offers support and enrichment to kids in grades TK – 12. As a tutoring professional, you will focus on facilitating individualized, academic programs that provide you with the opportunity to share your expertise and help students accelerate learning.

To support our mission, we bring together principals, teachers, and parents who are passionate about education. Stratford offers an accelerated curriculum from preschool through eighth grade with an emphasis in the areas of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) that incorporates music, physical education, foreign language, and social skills development. Stratford offers an annual Summer STEAM program as well as an ongoing Tutoring and Enrichment program, both available to Stratford students and children in the local community.

You are a fun and energetic educator who is passionate about learning. You like being creative within a framework of curriculum, and you have an eye for detail. You enjoy the collaborative process and have excellent time management skills. You are skilled in helping students reach goals with a non-punitive approach.

A Typical Day

Hourly tutoring sessions with 3:1 or 1:1 groups. Challenge students to think critically, creatively, and quickly! Bring out the potential in every student.


  • A tutoring professional shall have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 1-3 years experience working with children
