The Instructional/Business Technology Coordinator plays a key role in maintaining stakeholder satisfaction and partnership through open communications, relationship building and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service. They are responsible for understanding the needs and priorities of business/instructional partners and orchestrating the projects and tasks required to meet those needs. This position acts as a proxy between IT and various business and instructional partners and ensures that the right information is being communicated to make decisions that best meet the needs of the district and its mission.
Foster high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining open lines of communication between IT and both instructional and business partners, and ensuring a common understanding of project and task priorities, deliverables, and timelines -Orchestrate and manage projects and tasks across the Applications team to ensure their on-time, on-spec delivery -Manage project onboarding, resource planning, quality assurance, and release management efforts for Applications team projects and tasks -Partner with leadership, teammates, and stakeholders to understand the overall technology environment, business and instructional needs, and lead the conversation to ensure software solutions align with district priorities, goals, and interests -Collaborate with stakeholders, leadership, and application administrators to identify software solutions that align with BVSD needs, available resources, and district roadmap -Coordinate change request efforts of team and communicate progress to leadership and relevant partners during implementation. -Pursue professional development opportunities to improve overall skill set and meet review objectives. -Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications: Required: -Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Technology related field -Minimum of seven years experience in: Orchestrating projects and tasks across individuals and teams -Completed and submitted BVSD online application -Communicate (read, write, and speak) in English
Preferred: -Solid understanding of the education system and a day-to-day understanding of classroom operations -Proficient in the use of SmartSheets, ServiceNow, or equivalent project and ticket management software -Proficient in Google Productivity Suite -Solid understanding of technical system and processes -Solid understanding of software development lifecycle -Site specific additions (optional)
Salary Information: -Salary Placement varies according to experience and education.
