Future role: Special Education Teacher

The Special Education teacher is entrusted with advancing the mission of Promesa Academy by creating an inclusive environment in which all learning experiences are accessible for students with IEPs or 504 plans. Promesa Academy believes that every child is brilliant and capable of success and the Special Education teacher is critical in ensuring that each child can fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.

We believe that the work our teachers do is priceless and wish that we lived in a world where teachers were compensated more fairly. We have made it a priority to ensure that our salary scale is competitive to that of surrounding districts and promise to continue to be champions for our teachers, advocating for higher teacher pay as we work towards a world where teachers are truly valued for the work they do.
