Duties and Responsibilities: ? Nurture physical, spiritual, emotional, social, and intellectual growth and development of children ? Preserve warm, engaging, healthy, safe and clean classroom environment ? Facilitate developmentally appropriate activities to meet the needs of diverse learners ? Maintain high-expectations for learning and development ? Communicate regularly with Principal, parents, students, and co-workers ? Participate in professional development and parent-teacher conferences upon request ? Reinforce classroom procedures through consistent, well-articulated expectations ? Promote a positive school environment that enhances growth ? Maintain a positive and collaborative climate across school divisions ? Proactively participate in school-wide community programs and events ? Build strong relationships with all stakeholders, including students, parents, co-workers and community at large ? Perform other duties as assigned

Skills: ? Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication abilities ? Willingness to engage with parents and family members and be responsive to their needs ? Ability to work as an integral part of a team ? Talent for prioritizing and addressing multiple situations simultaneously ? Familiarity with Microsoft Office as well as other relevant educational platforms

Education & Experience ? Education: High School diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred ? Certification/License: Valid CDA or equivalent preferred ? Familiarity with Bright from the Start requirements ? Experience: Minimum of three years as a teacher in a Preschool environment

Physical Requirements ? Physical Requirements: The employee must be able to: ? Bend, crouch, walk through the school, and move from standing to sitting on the floor and back. ? Use hands and fingers to reach, grab, write, handle, feel & control objects ? See, talk and hear ? Lift and carry objects including children up to 40 lbs. ? Lightly clean and maintain equipment in the classroom ? Work in a busy and occasionally noisy environment

About the Role: ? FLSA: Exempt, Salaried ? Reports To: Division Principal ? Work Days: 190 ? Salary: Commensurate with experience ?
