This laid-back and caring family resides in the Bay Area’s southern peninsula with their 3.5-year-old and 7-week-old children. As an active family, they enjoy taking their family dog with them on adventures as their toddler curiously explores the outdoors. The family and their home staff, including their long-term nanny, are all taking COVID precautions seriously, and both parents currently work from home. Their toddler is loving, kind, and sensitive; she typically attends preschool and will be homeschooling this year. They look forward to adding a supportive nanny to their team who can provide a nurturing environment for their toddler, and support the parents and their infant.
This position is ideal for a candidate who is passionate about engaging in educationally-minded activities and instilling a sense of confidence and independence in their charges! The family would love to work with a candidate who is proactive about finding and initiating creative activities throughout the day. Though the majority of the position will focus on their toddler, the confidence to step in and care for their infant as needed will be appreciated. A candidate who enjoys wearing multiple hats and is able to pitch in with some light tidying throughout the week, occasional errand running, meal prep (with consideration for peanut and shellfish allergies), and light pet care, will be a valued asset to this home. Though not a requirement, Thai knowledge will be a plus, as the family speaks Thai in their home.
This is a full-time, live-out position with a guaranteed schedule of 40-50 hours per week. The general schedule will fall Mondays through Fridays from 8:30am to 5:30pm. The family is offering $35-$40/hour, and benefits include relocation assistance (if needed), health insurance, PTO, and sick days. Driving is required for this role and a vehicle will be provided while on duty. The position will begin as soon as the family finds the perfect fit!
This position is open to all Adventure Nanny candidates who are legally able to work in the US and possess a valid driver’s license. This family is happy to consider relocation candidates for this position should they find a great fit for their family. Out of respect for the privacy of the families we work with, we cannot provide any additional information about this position other than what has already been provided in the job description.
