TandemEDU is a statewide high school and early college program that allows students to graduate with a high school diploma and significant college credit. We are seeking teachers for the upcoming academic year for our Calhoun campus on Monday and Acworth campus on Tuesday. Who would be a good fit for TandemEDU?

who have a Bachelor’s degree (in any discipline) and a passion for high school English.
We have openings teaching English to 8th grade students and high school students at our Calhoun location (Highway 156 off I75) and our Acworth location (Dallas Acworth Highway and 92). Classes meet once a week from late August to early May (32 weeks). There is a spring break and a 5-6 week Christmas break. Calhoun classes meet on Monday morning, Acworth on Tuesday morning both campuses from 9 am to 3 pm. All lesson plans are provided as are all teaching materials, copies, consumable supplies, and a class budget for additional resources. Classes are small, less than 15 students, all of whom are highly motivated!
TandemEDU pays on a per-class basis and our pay is well above the average for school hybrid programs in metro Atlanta. TandemEDU is a Christian program; all of our parents, teachers, and students sign our Statement of Faith. All candidates must be willing to sign our statement of faith.
