DUTIES:

The Teacher 2, 12 Months, will perform the following duties:

Under the direction of the Supervisor of Educational Programs (School Principal) teachers are invited to join the JJC to plan, execute, and evaluate the lessons and educational experiences of the assigned pupils, class, or classes. Enjoy small class sizes and ongoing professional development, all while serving students. Performs these duties exercising independent judgement and with a comprehensive knowledge of department rules, regulations, and policies; does other related duties as required.  

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: Possession of a valid New Jersey Teacher's Certificate (Standard, Emergency or Provisional Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing or Certificate of Eligibility) or Permanent Endorsement, issued by the Board of Examiners of the New Jersey Department of Education, authorizing instruction in the following subject areas; English, Math, any Science, Social Studies, Health/PE, Business, World Language, Art, ESL, Driver's Ed, FCS, Music, Theater, Special Education, CTE, Elementary Education.

LICENSE: Appointee will be required to possess a driver's license valid in New Jersey.
