Internal Title:Senior Associate Director of Data Analytics

Team Overview

The Data Analytics team informs Uncommons organizational strategy by performing thoughtful, rigorous data analysis to answer key questions in areas ranging from student academic performance to talent to college completion. We are a dynamic, fast-paced team that delivers accurate, actionable data analyses and robust models that enable stakeholders to make the decisions that drive success for over 20,000 students.

Position Overview

As a member of Data Analytics reporting to the Sr. Director of Data Analytics, the Senior Associate Director will:

  1. Conduct and oversee analyses related to areas of strategic importance for Uncommon (e.g. student performance, talent)
  2. Create presentations, generate reports and communicate key findings that will inform decisions made by Uncommons senior leaders including the CEO, President, Chief Schools Officers, Chief Talent Officer and other members of the executive team
  3. Help determine the key questions that the team should prioritize and address through analysis
  4. Build sustainable structures, processes and systems to maximize the teams impact across Uncommon
  5. Manage team member(s) first on components of projects, and then assuming full responsibility for ongoing management and professional development of direct report
  6. Fulfill ongoing and ad-hoc requests for key metrics and other data from both internal and external stakeholders
