The Department of Children and Families, Office of Education (OOE) has an immediate need for a Math Teacher.
This position plans, executes, and evaluates the lessons and educational experiences of the assigned pupils, class, or classes; performing these duties by exercising independent judgment and with a comprehensive knowledge of department rules, regulations, and policies; does related work. This position is in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.

Please note that schools within OOE have a 12-month school year.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Experience with teaching special needs and/or at-risk youth preferred.
EDUCATION: Possession of a valid standard teacher certification or valid Certificate of Eligibility (CE) or Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing (CEAS) issued by the NJ Department of Education, as a Teacher of Mathematics, issued by the NJ Department of Education.
NOTE: Ability to physically lift, move, and position students as needed.
LICENSE: Appointees will be required to possess a driver’s license valid in New Jersey only if the operation of a vehicle, rather than employee mobility, is necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

SALARY: $55,777.68 - $90,711.70 commensurate with education and experience.
