Instructors (Number of instructors will be based on enrollment numbers) Wolverines Forward Before and After School Program Griswold Public Schools 2022/2023 School Year
Terms of Service: Hourly, part-time, school year position with between 1.5 and 4 hours per school day. Pay commensurate with experience, with a range of $15.00 - $17.00 per hour.
Benefits: No benefits are available for part-time and/or per diem personnel.
Job Summary: Under the direction of the Before/After School Program Director and Site Coordinator, the Before/After School Care Counselor will assist with the implementation of the program. The Counselor is responsible for helping to maintain a safe and clean site, ensuring a high level of program quality, and working to establish a positive relationship with all program participants and their families.
Ability to -
Work with, develop, lead, mentor, and supervise youth ages 5 to 14 in small and large groups.
Engage in physical activities with participants without limitation.
Lift, carry, pull, or otherwise move objects between 10 and 20 pounds.
Stand for up to 5 hours.
Maintain an inviting, safe, orderly environment.
Work cooperatively and collaboratively with staff, parents, and students.
Effectively communicate and demonstrate sensitivity with others.
Be a good role model for children.
Education and/or Experience:
Entry level position.
