Early Intervention Specialist - Developmental Specialist (Full or Part-time)

Positions with a purpose, join Aspire helping and educating families with infants and toddlers. The EI Specialist supports children and their families to enhance the development and learning of infants and toddlers through individualized, developmentally appropriate coaching and activities within the child's and family's everyday life in their home. Provide home and community-based services as a member of the transdisciplinary team to children birth to 3 years old. Engage caregivers through parent coaching sessions to maximize child growth and development. Participate in a collaborative team approach; through IFSP teams, facilitating playgroups or as a member of a developmental evaluation team.


  • EI provides educational child development services in a home/community, serve culturally and linguistically diverse families, enjoy working with individuals of all ages, races, religious backgrounds, and personalities
  • Conduct formal and informal Child Developmental Evaluations
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
  • Apply interventions to maximize children's safety and performance in daily life
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with organizational policies and procedures related to privacy
  • Complete professional documentation according to Aspire and DPH procedures


  • BA/BS in Early Childhood Education or Family Studies
  • A high level of professionalism and organizational skills
  • Proficient in using Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Reliable transportation
  • Comfortable with home visiting
