| Job Goal: Utilize the Creative Curriculum for Preschoolers and Breakthrough to Literacy programs. Individualized instruction and low student to teacher ratio assist students to develop the readiness skills needed to enter kindergarten. Preschoolers with disabilities/challenges have the opportunity of being in an inclusive setting with "typical" peers. Special education services are provided within the classroom setting. | |
| Job Qualifications: 1. Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education. 2. Possess or be eligible for educator licensure and/or certification in Delaware for Early Childhood Special Education Teacher. 3. Exceptional classroom management, organization, planning, instructional delivery, leadership, and technical skills and the ability to utilize differentiated instructional methods to engage students in positive learning experiences. 4. Outstanding ability to motivate and build relationships with students and parents to promote student Achievement and strengthen community partnerships. 5. Commendable history of effective leadership, extra-curricular participation, an acceptable attendance record, and exemplary performance. | |
