Staff Needed: One (1) Middle School Bilingual Arabic Math Teacher

Qualifications:

• Hold a New Jersey instructional certificate in accordance with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:27.1 et seq. and N.J.A.C. Title 6 Chapter 11 with a bilingual education endorsement N.J.A.C. 6:11-8.4, and other appropriate endorsement(s) for the position held (N.J.A.C. 6:11-6.1, 6.2, or 8.1 et seq.)
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively both in English and Arabic, both orally and in writing, using proper grammar and vocabulary
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding on Bilingual education, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment, and diagnosis and research related to learning and children needing to learn English as a second language
• Knowledge of NJSLS, the Common Core Standards, and mandated state testing
• Assumes professional responsibility for providing learning experience and supervision of assigned students in supportive and positive classroom climate
• Experience working with middle school students
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience with Google Classroom and various Media related applications
