License and Certification Qualifications: Valid Georgia teaching certification, S-5 Instructional Technology certification, or S-5 Media certification required.

Education Qualifications: Bachelor"s degree in related field required. Master"s degree in related field preferred.

Experience Qualifications: Three years of experience integrating technology in instruction in a K-12 environment preferred.

Skills Qualifications: Strong background in the use of technology to support teaching and learning; excellent technology skills in instructional and productivity software; strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others; ability to problem solve, lead, and multitask; ability to create various training materials; and ability to teach and coach end users with varied computer competencies on the use of complex technologies.

Primary Responsibilities: Provide direction and support in the use of technology and oversee the planning of technology initiatives in support of teaching and learning.

1. Facilitating InstructionalTechnology Integration & Innovation for All Learners
Provide leadership to advance a shared local school vision for technology-enhanced teaching and learning aligned with the LSPI.
a. Collaborate with the local school leadership team to support the vision of instructional technology practices and maintain the confidentiality of team discussions and decisions.
b. Monitor and provide feedback on the implementation of technology initiatives to ensure alignment with the school vision.
c. Deliver professional learning on instructional technology through large group sessions, small groups, and individual support.
d. Coach and model effective technology integration strategies that strengthen High-Quality Tier 1 instruction.
e. Engage with Professional Learning Communities (PLC) and Collaborative Learning Teams (CLT) to offer an instructional technology perspective that enhances instructional goals, as appropriate.
f. Serve as an instructional technology lens for the local school technology team.

2. Supporting Teaching & Learning
Support staff and students in selecting and using instructional technology resources with safe and secure practices.
a. Support adoption and implementation of district technology initiatives, including the LMS and digital instructional resources.
b. Evaluate and monitor technologies, including but not limited to AI, for integration into High-Quality Tier 1 instruction, and guide educators in both ethical use and how to effectively operate these tools within their instructional practice.
c. Support staff in embedding digital citizenship practices into classroom instruction and student learning activities.
d. Equip school leaders and teachers with strategies and resources to foster parent and family engagement around student technology use.

3. Operational Support for Schools
Support schools in other critical areas related to instructional technology integration and innovation.
a. Support technology processes that impact teaching and learning, such as gradebook setup and related instructional technology tasks.
b. Support educators and leaders in accessing, analyzing, and utilizing data to improve teaching and decision-making.
c. Provide support for assessments by assisting educators and school leaders with the effective use of assessment platforms.
d. Collaborate with staff to maintain effective digital communication platforms (websites, social media, etc.).
e. Partner with the local school technology team to ensure accurate tracking and management of devices for 1:1 initiatives.
f. Train staff in the use of digital tools to support operations and classroom use.
g. Model best practices for ethical application, data privacy, and compliance with district policies, procedures, and guidelines.

4. Professional Growth
Engage in reflective practices to strengthen expertise in instructional technology and coaching aligned with High-Quality Tier 1 instruction.
a. Stay current with research and trends in instructional technology and adult learning through professional learning opportunities and/or attending instructional technology related conferences.
b. Participate in district-provided professional learning and collaborate with other ITI Coaches and school technology teams.
c. Apply knowledge gained through professional growth to improve practice.

5. Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:
This position requires extended periods of computer use. The lifting of computer equipment and peripherals are often required of this position. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time. The employee is also required to talk, hear, stand, and walk. The employee may be required to use hands to touch, handle, feel, and/or reach. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
