Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and skilled Home School Teacher to
provide individualized instruction for two students with special needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and
implement personalized learning plans.
- Adapt
curriculum materials for diverse learning styles.
- Provide
instruction in core subjects.
- Integrate
life skills and executive functioning support.
- Utilize
evidence-based strategies for neurodiverse learners.
- Maintain a
positive and structured learning environment.
Progress Monitoring & Documentation:
- Track
academic and developmental progress.
- Adjust
teaching methods based on student response.
- Provide
regular updates to parents.
Collaboration:
- Communicate
regularly with parents.
- Collaborate
with related service providers.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Experience
teaching students with special needs.
- Strong
understanding of individualized education.
Preferred:
- Degree in
Education or related field.
- Training in
special-education methods.
Personal Qualities:
- Patient, nurturing, flexible, dependable and organized.
Work Environment:
- Home-based instruction at non-residential location.
