Description:
Teach high school special education students according to State and District standards. Develop and implement lesson plans according to State and District standards. Assist with creation and implementation of individualized education plans (IEP). Evaluate student learning. Communicate student learning to stakeholders and administrators.
Requires Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Education, or related field. Must possess Arizona Department of Education Teaching Certificate and possess appropriate approved area for the position on the certificate; Must possess Arizona Department of Public Safety IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
