Position Summary:

 

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides behavioral assessment, program development, consultation, and direct support to students to promote positive behavioral outcomes and access to learning. The BCBA collaborates with educators, related service providers, administrators, and families to design and implement evidence-based interventions that foster student independence, skill acquisition, and school success. The BCBA supports staff through coaching, modeling, and training to ensure effective implementation of behavior plans and data-driven decision making across school settings.


Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings preferred.
  • Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong skills in behavioral assessment, data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Experience training and coaching educators and paraprofessionals preferred.
  • Trained in Non-Physical and Physical De-Escalation and Crisis Intervention (such as CPI or similar program).
