The purpose of these positions is to instruct athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. At the same time, the students shall receive instruction that will lead to the formulation of moral values, pride of accomplishment, acceptable social behavior, self-discipline, sportsmanship, and service to others.

Qualifications:
Windham High School is seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and safety-focused Bass Fishing Coach to lead and develop our student bass fishing program. The ideal candidate will have competitive bass fishing experience, strong mentorship skills, and the ability to foster teamwork, sportsmanship, and student growth both on and off the water.
This position requires the coach to provide and operate their own fully insured fishing boat suitable for student participation and tournament travel. The District will reimburse for gas and mileage.
Ideal candidate(s) should have a minimum of three (3) years of successful experience in the respective sport as a head coach at a high school, OR at least five (5) years of successful experience as an assistant coach in college or high school is preferred. Secondary Teaching certification is preferred but not required. Must have or be able to acquire annual CPR/First Aid Certification along with select NFHS and State of NH certifications, have a strong knowledge and commitment to following rules, expectations, policies, and procedures of the Windham School District and NHIAA.
Salary:
In accordance with the collective bargaining agreement of the WEA.
