DescriptionBasic Function
The Paraprofessional at Graduation Solution plays a vital role in supporting the educational and developmental needs of students. The Paraprofessional will work closely with teachers and other educational professionals to provide essential support to students. The Paraprofessional will work with teachers and staff to reinforce classroom rules to teach proper behavior. Teamwork, collaboration, and adherence to the core values are paramount to success. The Paraprofessional will work with students alongside other teaching staff, ESS staff and parents to create a safe and positive school environment by ensuring all students adhere to the student code of conduct.

Responsibilities
Behavior Support: Support the classroom environment and students in the classroom by maintaining the classroom management system and structure. Support students who need additional behavioral support by implementing behavior intervention strategies as directed by the teacher.
Academic Support: Provide support to teachers in delivering instruction by working with individual students or small groups, helping with lesson preparation, and reinforcing learning concepts.
Classroom Management: Help maintain a positive and organized learning environment by managing student behavior, enforcing classroom rules, and assisting with transitions between activities.
Administrative Tasks: Provide support to teachers by completing tasks like preparing classroom materials, supervising students, and completing
Office Support: Provide coverage in the front office if needed, including answering the phone, checking students in/out, and greeting visitors.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
